The Paradigm Is Shifting

The other day Kansa and I went to see a movie in a mainstream theater. The content of the movie would have never made it to the big screen unless the first of its series out sold all of the other movies on DVD the year it came out: but Fireproof did just that, proving that America is now ready for a change. Now the sequel, Courageous, has the box office sold out. Could it be that people are sick of the immorality that Hollywood has been pushing down our throats? If you consider that both movies are dealing with the value of the family unit, the evidence is screaming “YES!”
Fire Proof talked about making investments in your relationship with your spouse. You know, making the extra effort to show that you care about the other person. My wife is on a strict diet and she can't eat a lot of the things she loves. So I have been looking at ways to supplement for the things she can't have. That small effort has drawn us closer. Many people mistake love for an emotionally act and this mistake has costs 1000s of marriages every year. For if Love is only an emotion, the moment you get angry with the person, the relationship is over.
However, when people look at LOVE as a constantly changing devotion to the other person, the relationship is pulled closer together when the worst of life is before you. The same goes for your job, education or any other part of your life. I have always said the you can't call your self a Christian if you call your self a Democrat. One day I got a response to my statement.
The writer claimed that she has, “Jesus in her heart, that every decision that she makes is governed by what she thinks he would do.” She then told me that, “Jesus does not care about politics, only what is in your heart.” But just like your family relationships, if you waver in one part of your life, everything in your life is unbalanced. Because, “man is a more political animal than bees” (Aristotle), Jesus does care about your politics, for he knows what is in your heart. Furthermore Jesus was in truth a Politician, in fact he was killed for political reasons.
If we stopped trying to pretend that our politics has nothing to do with every other part of our life, we can reclaim our country from a dieing government, which is run by Satin's rebels (The Democrats). Moreover, no mistake can be made, the numbers don't lie. The American people bought more tickets to The Passion Of The Christ, Fireproof, and Courageous, than all of the other movies that have been released in recent years combined. Because LOVE of God, Family, and Country, is the corner stone of the American government that our Founding Fathers designed, we can also assume that the Supreme Court's ruling about a separation of church and state was misinterpreted. Besides if the revenue generated by the fore mentioned three Christian based movies is any consolation, the voters who are said to run this nation want to see God back in the center of government. Even movies such as Mr. Popper's Penguins are supporting family values now. All evidence points to a shift in paradigm between the existential America back towards our Godly roots. On the other hand, living a Godly life requires that American's start to take responsibility for our own actions and stop blaming the government for our being too lazy to get a job or create our own job to support our families. After all this is the land of opportunity.

I agree that the Democratic party is demonstrably less Christian than the Republican party, but I don't think you should dismiss a potentially great politician or person because of the history of the party they are a member of, nor because of ancient ideas about what the 'natural man' is. Surely it is a Christian idea that the common/natural man without indoctrination of sin is born of God and essentially a Christian anyway?
I think your political prejudices are clouding your judgment of potentially good people, Christian or non-Christian.
I am not particularly offended by the idea that Hollywood may be turning back to God. In fact, I would embrace more openly spiritual films if they came. The Tree Of Life dealt with the big questions openly and was my favourite film of the year. Despite that one example and the films you have mentioned, I don't really see the evidence that they have just yet - Hollywood is still very secular. I object to the assertions you make, not to the message.

"The American people bought more tickets to The Passion Of The Christ, Fireproof, and Courageous, than all of the other movies that have been released in recent years combined."
That is a very contentious statement to make. Let's see if there is any truth to that -
Figures from Box Office mojo.com
Passion of the Christ - $370 million
Fireproof - $33 million
Courageous - $34 million
Total - $470 million
And the revenue from Hollywood from just 2011 was around $10 billion. Billion with a B. I feel like I didn't even need to do that research. I hadn't even heard of Fire Proof and Courageous.
Also, if you look on TheNumbers.com, you will find that at least 100 films sold more DVDs than Fireproof in 2008.
Also, what is exactly wrong with a Christian Democrat? I'm interested to know because you don't seem to back up your claim that Democrats are Satan's rebels. You can advocate any particular movie you like but don't make obviously untrue statements about them to support your case.
